Demetrious Johnson, Memory Care Coordinator
Demetrious is the Memory Care Coordinator at Desert Gardens. She has been employed at Desert Gardens since 2009. Demetrious is responsible for monitoring training, and coordinating the programming and care services for the memory care community.
She also coordinates Life Enrichment activities and training, facilitates a monthly family resident council for the memory care families, and performs resident assistant duties as needed.
Demetrious says, “Being the oldest girl of nine children and a mother of two, I have realized that taking care of others is why I was put on this Earth. It is a pleasure to care for these residents and make sure that they know they aren’t forgotten.
Being a part of a team that promotes joy, independence and wellness is a blessing and an honor.
